The lightly swollen vessel is decorated with «loud» Do not! and FOR FREE, as well as road markings and anonymous shadows of residents of the city. The color of dusty asphalt of the object is the proof of direct inspiration by a big city.
ABOUT ARTIST Diana Kulyk is an Ukrainian ceramics artist. She began working in ceramics in 2017. In 2019 her series The Natural Revolution, which was inspired by the events of May 1968 in Paris, was shown as part of the Paris Design Week. Kulyk's work is about reimagining the environment the artist live in. She's playing with the meaning of street signs and intentionally ignoring the "perfect" shape. All of her artwork is handmade.
